Russia's broad monetary base up 2.3% in Feb - Central Bank

MOSCOW. March 14 (Interfax) - Russia's broad monetary base increased 2.3% to 15.878 trillion rubles in February 2019 from 15.521 trillion rubles at the beginning of the month, the Central Bank of Russia (CBR) said in information posted on its website.

The monetary base fell 1.2% in January-February 2019, from 16.63 trillion rubles.

It grew 8.9% in the 12 months to the end of February, from 14.579 trillion rubles on March 1, 2018.
