Sberbank boosts RAS earnings after subsequent events 20% to 782 bln rubles in 2018

MOSCOW. March 18 (Interfax) - Sberbank of Russia boosted net profit to Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), adjusted for the effect events following the reporting period, by 19.7% in 2018 to 782.2 billion rubles, from 653.6 billion rubles in 2017, according to the bank's annual book-keeping report.

Net profit before subsequent events rose 24.1% to 811.1 billion rubles last year, the bank has said. Thus, subsequent events reduced profit by 28.9 billion rubles.

Net profit to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) grew 11.1% to 831.7 billion rubles.
