Tajikistan, Russia agree to develop cooperation in energy, agriculture, transport

DUSHANBE. March 20 (Interfax) - Russia and Tajikistan signed a memorandum in Dushanbe on Wednesday following the latest meeting of their intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation, Tajikistan's Economic Development and Trade Ministry reported, without disclosing the details of the document.

"The leaders of the delegations, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda and First Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister of Russia Anton Siluanov stressed the importance of establishing close cooperation in promising sectors such as energy, industry, agriculture, transport and logistics, migration, tourism, as well as in the finance and banking sector," the statement said.
