Ukrainian army, DPR report losses on both sides as result of attacks

DONETSK/KYIV. March 22 (Interfax) - One militiaman was killed and another two wounded in attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the last 24 hours, Eduard Basurin of the Defense Ministry of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) said at a press briefing.

"One [DPR] serviceman was killed and another two wounded in the enemy's strikes," Basurin said.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces violated the spring truce 68 times in the past week, killing three militiamen and wounding another two, he said.

The press center of the headquarters of Kyiv's Joint Forces Operation in Donbas, in turn, accused the militia of mounting seven attacks on the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the last 24 hours, killing one Ukrainian serviceman and wounding two others.

"The enemy committed seven truce violations on March 21, on four occasions using weapons banned by the Minsk Agreements and firing 40 120mm and 82mm mines... As a result of the strikes, one Ukrainian serviceman was killed and another two were wounded," the JFO headquarters said on Facebook on Friday morning.

An anti-tank missile was also fired, destroying a military vehicle, it said.
