Putin instructs that dredging works be conducted at Utrenny LNG terminal in Sabetta in 2019
MOSCOW. March 28 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed that dredging works be conducted at the Utrenny LNG terminal and that additional budget funds be allocated for construction of the terminal's infrastructure in 2020 - 2022.
These instructions were given after a meeting with government members on February 27, the Kremlin website said.
"During the drawing up of the Federal Law 'on the state budget for 2020 and the 2021 and 2022 planning period' additional budget funds should be allocated for the construction of infrastructure for the Utrenny LNG and gas condensate terminal in the seaport of Sabetta and the reconstruction of the maritime ship channel at the Ob Bay in the Kara Sea. The deadline is October 1, 2019," the resolution said.
The president also instructed that the government, jointly with Rosatom, determine sources of financing and provide for the carrying out of dredging works in 2019 at the Utrenny LNG and gas condensate terminal in the seaport of Sabetta, with reports due to be made on May 1, 2019 and September 1, 2019.
