RusHydro planning to issue new dividend policy for 2019-2021

KRASNOYARSK. March 29 (Interfax) - PJSC RusHydro is planning to distribute a new dividend policy for 2019-2021, company head Nikolai Shulginov told journalists on the sidelines of the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum.

"We'll be proposing that the board of directors change the dividend policy for three years - 2019, 2020, and 2021. After that, we'll see," Shulginov said.

The board is scheduled to discuss this issue in April, he said.

In February, during the company's Investor Day, Shulginov said that RusHydro would recommend to the board and the government that in the future the company pay dividends equal at least to the average amount for the previous three years.

In the last three years, the company has allocated 50% of its IFRS net profit for dividend payouts. In 2016, they totaled 15 billion rubles; in 2017, 19.9 billion; and in 2018, 11.2 billion.
