OSCE Chair Lajcak to visit Kazakhstan on April 7-8
NUR-SULTAN. April 1 (Interfax) - Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Chairperson-in-Office and Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak is to pay a working visit to Kazakhstan on April 7-8, Kazakh Foreign Ministry spokesperson Aibek Smadiyarov said.
"During his visit, [Lajcak's] meetings with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Senate Chair Dariga Nazarbayeva, and Foreign Minister Beibut Atamkulov are planned," Smadiyarov said at a news briefing in Nur-Sultan on Monday.
The parties will discuss the current state and the future of relations between Kazakhstan and Slovakia, interaction between Kazakhstan and the OSCE, and Kazakhstan's international initiatives to promote global security, Smadiyarov said.
