NATO's Sea Shield exercise to be held in Black Sea on April 5-13

KYIV. April 3 (Interfax) - This year's multinational NATO naval exercise Sea Shield in the Black Sea, featuring 20 warships and over 2,000 troops, will be held on April 5, the Ukrainian mission to NATO said.

"NATO's major multinational naval exercise Sea Shield 19 will be held in the Black Sea on April 5-13. Fourteen Romanian warships and six warships from Bulgaria, Canada, Greece, the Netherlands, and Turkey, with the participation of 2,200 troops, will execute joint combat tasks in the Black Sea region," the mission said on Twitter.
