Russia boosts aluminum production 10.6% in March - Rosstat

MOSCOW. April 15 (Interfax) -Russia boosted primary aluminum production 10.6% year-on-year in March, the Russian State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said.

Aluminum production rose 3.1% compared to February 2019.

It rose 15.7% in Q1 2019.

Russia's main producer of aluminum, Rusal was put onto the U.S. sanctions list on April 6, 2018 seriously complicating sales for the company. The sanctions were lifted in January.
