Energy Ministry expecting decision on compensation for lost budget revenue from damping mechanism adjustment this week
MOSCOW. April 16 (Interfax) - The Energy Ministry expects that a decision on compensation for lost budget revenue from the adjustment of the reverse excise on oil with a damping mechanism will be taken this week, Deputy Energy Minister Pavel Sorokin told journalists.
"The process is continuing. We'll make an announcement in the near future. We've agreed with the Finance Ministry on the final parameters; the majority of them were nailed down last week. One little detail remains," Sorokin said.
Asked whether a decision is expected this week, he said, "Yes."
