Russian nickel production up 3%, platinoids up 27% in Q1 - Rosstat
MOSCOW. April 18 (Interfax) - Nickel production in Russia grew 3.4% in Q1, according to Rosstat.
In March, nickel production increased 7.6% year-on-year.
In Q1, refined copper production increased 1.8%; in March, 1.4%.
Cobalt production in Q1 grew 6.5%; in March, 26%.

Production of platinum and platinoids grew 26.1% year-on-year in March and 26.6% in the quarter. Silver output fell 4.8% in March and 8.8% in the quarter.
