Belarus not to compromise on sovereignty - Lukashenko
MINSK. April 19 (Interfax) - Belarus will not compromise on sovereignty, President Alexander Lukashenko said in his annual address to the people and the parliament on Friday.
"There has never been place for compromise on sovereignty and security in our foreign and domestic policy, and there will never be any," Lukashenko said.
"Repeated experience of the Belarusian people's division and border remapping makes us appreciate today's unity and territorial integrity," he said.
Lukashenko has said on multiple occasions that Belarus will not give up its sovereignty.
