No Russians killed or injured in Sri Lanka blasts - Russian Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. April 21 (Interfax) - No Russian citizens have been killed or injured in a series of explosions in Sri Lanka, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said.

"Hundreds of people have been killed or injured. As of today, at this point there is no information that any Russian citizens have been killed or injured. The embassy is verifying this information," Zakharova told the Rossiya 24 (VGTRK) TV channel.

Major tourist areas were not affected by the blasts, she said.
