Naturalization of Donbas residents not to burden Russian pension system - Topilin
MOSCOW. April 26 (Interfax) - The Russian Labor and Social Protection Ministry does not expect fast-track naturalization of residents of the certain districts of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions of Ukraine by Russia to burden Russia's pension system.
"I do not expect this to be a heavy burden," Labor and Social Protection Minister Maxim Topilin told the press on Friday in response to a question from Interfax.
The Russian Pension Fund said on Thursday that Donbas residents who use the opportunity of fast-track naturalization would only be able to apply for Russian pensions if they move to Russia.
