MOSCOW. April 29 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and Mohammed Siyala, foreign minister of Libya's Government of National Accord, have discussed the situation in the country in a phone call, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
"During the conversation, Siyala shared his thoughts about recent military-political developments in Libya. The Russian side reiterated its principled commitment to supporting Libya's unity, territorial integrity and sovereignty, and the stance that the Libyan crisis ought to be overcome by political means with the help of Ghassan Salame, Special Representative of the UN Secretary General in Libya," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement on its website on Monday.
Media reported earlier that Siyala was planning to arrive in Moscow on Monday on a visit that would last a few days.
