CSTO states' armed forces personnel to participate in 2020 Moscow Victory Day Parade

BISHKEK. April 30 (Interfax) - Armed forces personnel from Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member countries will take part in Moscow's parade in 2020 in honor of the 75th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany in World War II, acting CSTO Secretary General Valery Semerikov said.

"It is a very important issue that all ministers have endorsed, and the chairman of the [CSTO] Council of Defense Ministers and the chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan has signed a protocol approving the Russian Federation's proposal for armed forces personnel of the CSTO states to participate in the Moscow parade in honor of the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War," Semerikov told reporters in Bishkek on Tuesday after a meeting of the CSTO Council of Defense Ministers.

The CSTO includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan.
