Interfax financial and business information services for May holidays
MOSCOW. April 30 (Interfax) - Russia celebrates the Day of Spring and Labor on May 1, which is a public holiday in Russia.
The Moscow Exchange's main markets will not work on May 1 but they will work on May 2 and 3, despite these days also being holidays in Russia.
On these days, trading on the Exchange's Securities Market and Derivatives Market will be conducted as usual.
All instruments will trade on the forex and Precious Metals Markets, except trades with Today settlement and swap transactions with their first parts settled on the same day. An exception will be also made for the market of standardized derivative financial instruments for which there will be no trading throughout the holidays.
In this connection, Interfax will provide a limited financial and business information service on May 2-3, publishing key macroeconomic indicators as well as data about the opening and closing of trade on the stock and currency markets.
