Dates for Normandy Four meetings not set so far - Ukrainian FM
KYIV. May 6 (Interfax) - No dates have been set as of yet for meetings in the Normandy format (France, Germany, Ukraine, and Russia) either between these countries' leaders or their foreign ministers, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin told reporters in Kyiv on Monday.
"I can confirm today that at this point we don't have any concrete dates for Normandy [format] meetings at any level. As soon as we agree upon the agenda, we will discuss the dates," Klimkin said.
Klimkin additionally said that he is keeping in touch with his German and French partners, as well as with United States Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations Kurt Volker.
When asked whether Ukrainian President-elect Volodymyr Zelensky's potential early inauguration may influence a date for a Normandy format meeting, Klimkin said: "Regardless of the inauguration date, we are communicating with our friends very closely. The only question is: what tactic will Russia choose?"
