Rosneft planning to produce up to 15 bcm of gas a year at Kynsko-Chaselskoye in Yamal-Nenets, eventually up to 19 bcm

MOSCOW. May 6 (Interfax) - Rosneft is planning to eventually create a new gas-production center in the southeast Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District based on the infrastructure in the Kynsko-Chaselskoye license area, the company said in its annual report.

There are plans to launch work at seven license areas that have already been acquired, and eventually at nearby areas in the eastern zone of the unallocated fund.

"The project envisages production of up to 15 billion cubic meters, with potential growth to 19 bcm a year," the company said.
