Zarif to discuss JCPOA's future with Lavrov in Moscow - Iranian embassy

MOSCOW. May 8 (Interfax) - The foreign ministers of Iran and Russia, Javad Zarif and Sergei Lavrov, will discuss the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) at their meeting in Moscow, the Iranian embassy to Russia said in a statement on Wednesday.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has announced the partial suspension of Iran's JCPOA obligations.

According to the embassy, Zarif and a delegation of high-ranking officials arrived in Moscow on Tuesday.

The talks will address an extension of the program of cooperation between the Iranian and Russian foreign ministries, and an agreement liberalizing travel of Russian and Iranian airline employees, the embassy said.

At the end of the talks, the ministers will sign a protocol amending the agreement on liberalization of the mutual travel system.
