Poroshenko meeting Stoltenberg in Brussels

KYIV. May 13 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is holding a meeting with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg in Brussels on Monday.

"Ukraine's membership in NATO is a strategic objective of our foreign policy. I am glad to be able to discuss further steps of our integration with the secretary-general of the Alliance," Poroshenko said on his Facebook page.

According to a live broadcast on his Facebook page, the meeting is being held in an extended format. Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, deputy head of the presidential administration Kostiantyn Yeliseyev, and Deputy Prime Minister Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze are also representing the Ukrainian side at the meeting.
