Conflict parties in Donbas discussing prisoner swap in video conference

DONETSK. May 15 (Interfax) - The humanitarian subgroup of the trilateral contact group on the settlement of the conflict in southeastern Ukraine is holding a video conference on Wednesday.

"The humanitarian subgroup of the trilateral contact group on the settlement of the conflict in southeastern Ukraine began working in a video conference mode at 10:00 a.m. on May 15," the office of DPR Human Rights Commissioner Darya Morozova told reporters on Wednesday.

The conference is expected to address "issues relating to exchange of held persons and organization of a search for missing citizens," she said.

According to earlier reports, the conflict parties failed to reach an agreement on the so-called Easter truce in the trilateral contact group meeting in a video conference format on April 18 as the Ukrainian side had refused to adopt a package of extra ceasefire control measures.
