Five flights delayed at Krasnodar Airport due to anonymous bomb threat calls

KRASNODAR. May 15 (Interfax) - Krasnodar Airport has resumed its operations in a routine mode in the wake of unnamed bomb threat calls, the press service of the air harbor told Interfax on Wednesday evening.

"Law enforcement officers have searched the building. The information about mining proved false. Five departure flights and four arrival flights were slightly delayed over this time. Representatives of air companies are dealing with passengers," a press officer said.

Krasnodar International Airport restarted its routine operations at 8:30 p.m. Moscow time, he added.

As previously reported, the airport's call center received at 6:25 p.m. Moscow time the information on mining the airport. Passengers were evacuated from the airport building.

Anonymous calls about mining seven buildings in Krasnodar came on Wednesday evening; the airport and six shopping and entertainment centers were evacuated. According to preliminary information, these calls were made using IP telephony and from abroad.
