ICRC sends 38.2 tonnes of relief supplies to Donbas

KYIV. May 16 (Interfax) - The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has dispatched three trucks carrying 38.2 tonnes of humanitarian aid to militia-controlled territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the Ukrainian State Border Service said on Thursday.

"Three trucks sent by the International Committee of the Red Cross have passed through the Novotroitske checkpoint on their way to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. They are carrying personal hygiene products, agricultural materials and instruments, medicine, and medical equipment to residents of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The registered humanitarian cargo weighs 38.2 tonnes," it said.
