Dismissed Ukrainian General Staff Chief Muzhenko to attend NATO Military Committee meeting

BRUSSELS. May 22 (Interfax) - Viktor Muzhenko, who has been relieved of his duties as the Ukrainian General Staff chief, will be taking part in a meeting of the NATO Military Committee in Brussels.

According to the agenda posted on the NATO website, General Staff chiefs of NATO member states will meet with Muzhenko on Wednesday afternoon.

Muzhenko, who was relieved of duties by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Tuesday, is representing Ukraine.

Muzhenko has yet to step down, so he continues to perform his duties.

Zelensky appointed Ruslan Khomchak General Staff Chief and Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
