Kolomoisky claims didn't meet with Zelensky after return to Ukraine
KYIV. May 22 (Interfax) - Business tycoon Ihor Kolomoisky claims that he did not meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky after the return to Ukraine and congratulated the latter on the victory at the presidential elections by phone.
"No. For what reason? As I understand, he [Zelensky] is quite busy now," Kolomoisky said in an interview with Ukrainska Pravda (a fragment of which was posted on YouTube on Wednesday), when asked about whether he has met Zelensky in the wake of the arrival to Ukraine.
He said that he has congratulated Zelensky by phone and wished the latter luck as president.
As reported, Kolomoisky flew to Kyiv in the early hours on May 16.
The tycoon said earlier that he would return to Ukraine following President Zelensky's inauguration.
