Azerbaijan not yet considering whether to join Russian-Kazakh drills in Caspian Sea - Defense Ministry
BAKU. May 23 (Interfax) - The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry is so far not considering whether to participate in joint naval drills Russia and Kazakhstan are planning to hold in the Caspian Sea in September, ministry spokesman Vagif Dargahli told Interfax.
"This is not under consideration at present," Dargahli said.
Media reported on Wednesday, citing Russian Caspian Flotilla Commander Rear Admiral Sergei Pinchuk, that the flotilla is expected to take part in trilateral naval drills with Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in September.
