Roscosmos chief announces plans to land man on Moon in 2030

MOSCOW. May 23 (Interfax) - A manned flight to the Moon is planned for 2029 and landing on its surface, for 2030, Roscosmos chief Dmitry Rogozin said.

Roscosmos is planning to organize a manned flight to the Moon in 2029-2030, according to the material prepared for Rogozin's lecture for students at the Moscow State University on Thursday.

"The year 2030 - landing a man on the Moon," the document said.
