OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs to visit Armenia, Azerbaijan next week
BAKU. May 24 (Interfax) - The co-chairs (Russia, France, and the United States) of the OSCE Minsk Group, which spearheads the OSCE's efforts to find a peaceful solution to the conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, will visit the region next week, a diplomatic source told Interfax.
"The visit will begin next week. The co-chairs will firstly visit Armenia and will then arrive in Azerbaijan. It is still unknown whether the mediators will visit Nagorno-Karabakh," the source said.
The last meeting between the Azerbaijani and Armenian foreign ministers on Karabakh settlement was held in Moscow in April. Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said earlier that the U.S. had announced its readiness to arrange another meeting between the Azerbaijani and Armenian foreign ministers.
