Hizb ut-Tahrir member from Tajikistan expelled from Russia for 35 years
STAVROPOL. May 30 (Interfax) - A member of the Hizb ut-Tahrir terrorist organization banned in Russia who came to the Stavropol Territory from Tajikistan has been deported from Russia for 35 years by the court ruling, an informed source told Interfax.
"A follower of the ideology of the Hizb ut-Tahrir terrorist organization from Tajikistan came to the Stavropol Territory and obtained a Russian passport with counterfeited documents. The procedure of stripping him of citizenship was initiated in order to prevent any terrorism crimes," the interlocutor of the news agency said.
A Stavropol court found that the Tajik national has acquired Russian citizenship illegally, he said.
"In accordance with the court ruling, he was forcibly expelled from Russia to Tajikistan. He was banned from travelling to Russia for 35 years," the source said.
