Zelensky has no direct contact with Russia, preparing stance for Normandy-format dialogue - NSDC secretary

KYIV. May 31 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has no direct contact with Russian officials, yet Ukraine is preparing its stance on the Donbas settlement talks in view of the Normandy-format dialogue, Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Secretary Oleksandr Danylyuk said.

"Volodymyr Zelensky is not maintaining such contacts. We believe we should first define our stance at negotiations and then discuss this in the Normandy format. That's the rule we will be following," Danylyuk said on the program Pravo na Vladu aired by the television channel 1+1 on Thursday.
