Ukrainian Security Council to gather to discuss situation in Donbas - secretary
KYIV. May 31 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council will address the situation in Donbas at its next session, Council Secretary Oleksandr Danylyuk said.
"The first full-format session [of the National Security and Defense Council] will deal with the problems in the east, the war in the east of our country," Danylyuk said at a news briefing following a Council meeting in Kyiv on Friday.
He said the Council's meeting at the presidential office on Friday was not a session but was held in a different format.
"This was a new format, a conference," Danylyuk said.
He did not say when exactly the Council will gather to address Donbas but said that the following session would address problems in the energy sector.
"As I've said already, the next [Council session] after this one will be devoted to problems in the energy sector," he said.
