French FM visits Chernobyl

KYIV. June 2 (Interfax) - French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian visited the Exclusion Zone in Chernobyl on Saturday to see the arch over the reactor of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, French Ambassador to Ukraine Isabel Dumont said on Twitter.

"Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian visited Chernobyl to inspect the completion of the construction of the arch that now covers the destroyed reactor thanks to the unique solutions of the French engineering group Groupe Bouygues and VINCI," the ambassador said.
