Belarus to finish pumping dirty oil back to Russia by mid-Aug - Gomeltransneft Druzhba
MINSK. June 3 (Interfax) - Belarus will finish pumping contaminated oil back to Russia by mid-August, according to Gomeltransneft Druzhba's head engineer, Andrei Verigo.
"More than 200,000 tonnes of oil contaminated with organic chlorides has been returned to Russia since May 24. A bit less than a million tonnes remains in Belarus. The pumping will be completed by the middle of August," Verigo said, according to the Belarusian news agency Belapan.
