CIS defense ministers to meet in Anapa on June 5 - Russian Defense Ministry

ANAPA, Krasnodar Territory. June 4 (Interfax) - Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu has arrived in Anapa where he will attend a meeting of the CIS Council of Defense Ministers on June 5.

"The meeting is planning to consider over 20 issues related to CIS military cooperation," his press secretary Rossiyana Markovskaya told journalists on Tuesday.

The ministers will discuss "prospective areas of the multilateral defense and security cooperation," she said.

The meeting will be attended by the defense ministers of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, the chairman of the CIS Executive Committee, and the head CIS Anti-Terrorist Center, Markovskaya said.

The meeting will be held at the ERA military innovation technopolis.
