Russian gold production up 11.5% in May - Rosstat

MOSCOW. June 18 (Interfax) - Russia raised production of unprocessed or semi-processed gold, and gold in powder form 11.5% year-on-year in May, the Statistics Service (Rosstat) said.

Gold production fell 16.3% in May compared with April 2019.

It rose 24.4% year-on-year in January-May.

Rosstat does not publish actual production figures for gold.
