Kyiv to lift blockade from Donbas only after its assets brought back to Ukrainian jurisdiction - Kuchma

KYIV June 19 (Interfax) - Kyiv's decision on trade restrictions in relation to Certain Areas of Donetsk and Luhansk Regions (CADLR) may not be reviewed unless assets located there return to Ukrainian jurisdiction, Ukraine's representative in the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) and ex-president Leonid Kuchma said.

"Only after Ukrainian assets are returned to Ukrainian legal framework, the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on introducing trade restrictions with regard to CADLR could be reviewed, Kuchma's press secretary Darka Olifer quoted him as saying in her post on Facebook after a TCG meeting in Minsk on Wednesday.
