Russian PM Medvedev arrives in France

LE HAVRE. June 24 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has arrived in Le Havre, France, where he is to hold talks with French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe.

This will be the first meeting between the two prime ministers in person. They have spoken only on the telephone up to this point.

Medvedev and Philippe plan to consider the entire range of Russian-French relations, as well as some relevant aspects of the international agenda.

There is a reason why France has proposed that the two meet in Le Havre: Philippe earlier served as mayor of this city, which is additionally a twin-city of St. Petersburg, Medvedev's hometown.

Following the talks, the two prime ministers are expected to have a walk around the city and see its places of interest together.
