Inflation in Russia reverts to 0.1% in week, annual figure inching towards 4.9%
MOSCOW. June 26 (Interfax) - Russia had 0.1% inflation for the week of June 18-24, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said.
Inflation was zero in each of the previous three weeks and 0.1% for seven straight weeks prior to that.
Prices rose 2.5% in the year to date. There was 0.1% growth for the first 24 days of June.
Average daily price growth for the first 24 days of June was 0.003%, compared with 0.010% in the same period last year. Based on the Rosstat data, annualized inflation was under 5.0% as of June 24, at roughly 4.95%.
Gasoline prices rose 0.1% in the past week while diesel prices were unchanged.
