Surgutneftegas to launch Tukanskoye, Zapadno-Tukanskoye fields in 2021, Yuganskoye in 2022

SURGUT. June 28 (Interfax) - Surgutneftegas plans to launch the Tukanskoye and Zapadno-Tukanskoye fields in 2021 and the Yuganskoye field in 2022, the Russian oil company said in materials presented at its annual general meeting.

These fields are part of the company's new cluster, the Yuganskaya group of fields.

"The company plans to work on developing oil production in the southern part of Tyumen Region and Khanty Mansi Autonomous District-Yugra. At a relatively short distance from the Uvatskaya group of fields, the company will begin development of the Yuganskaya group of fields," the materials stated.

The Yuganskaya group includes a total of 21 licensed blocks: Vostochno-Tukansky; Demyansky; Zabolotny; Zapadno-Polunyakhsky; Zapadno-Tukansky; N.Ya. Medvedev; Nelymsky; Salymsky 4; Severo-Tukansky; Tukansky; Shalimovsky; Yugansky; Yugansky 2, 3, 5, 9, 10, 15 and 44; Yuzhno Aikurussky; and Yuzhno-Tukansky.
