Free Russia Foundation threatens constitutional system - Prosecutor General's Office
MOSCOW. July 1 (Interfax) - Free Russia Foundation registered in the United States, which has been dubbed as unwelcome in Russia, threatens Russian security, a representative of the Prosecutor General's Office told Interfax on Monday.
"It has been established that its activity threatens foundations of the constitutional system and security of the Russian Federation," the representative said.
"Materials obtained by the Russian Prosecutor General's Office were analyzed, and a decision was made to designate the foreign non-governmental organization, Free Russia Foundation (Free Russia) registered in the U.S., as unwelcome in Russia," he said.
Last Friday, the Russian Justice Ministry listed Free Russia as an unwelcome foreign non-governmental organization.
