Minsk expecting Putin, Lukashenko to discuss deeper integration at regions forum in July
MINSK. July 2 (Interfax) - The presidents of Russia and Belarus, Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko, may have a substantive discussion of the deeper integration proposals of the bilateral working group on the sidelines of the Forum of Russian and Belarusian Regions in St. Petersburg on July 16-18, Belarusian Economy Minister Dmitry Krutoi said.
"Events of the program and the explanatory note to define the roadmap, which must be prepared for around November 1, are almost ready," Krutoi told the press on Tuesday.
"I think the presidents will have the first substantive discussion on the sidelines of the Forum of Regions in St. Petersburg on July 16-18. I think that colleagues will be ready to report the current situation in particular areas by then," he said.
