Tekhnoserv company confirms investigative actions at its offices, links them to work of previous owners' team

MOSCOW. July 11 (Interfax) - The Tekhnoserv IT company has confirmed investigative actions taking place in the company's office.

"The investigative actions in Tekhnoserv offices are connected to the activities of Alexei Ananyev's team. The previous managers were suspended from running the company in December 2018. All necessary assistance is now being provided to the law enforcement agencies. The new managers are acting in strict accordance with the legislation, ensuring the company's stable position on the market," the company press service told Interfax.

Sources earlier told Interfax that Federal Security Service officers had detained Russian Pension Fund deputy head Alexei Ivanov.

Ivanov is suspected of bribery, an informed source told Interfax.

"Ivanov is suspected of abuse of office in the distribution of public funding. He is suspected of bribery," the source said.

According to earlier reports, Ivanov was detained on Wednesday, July 10. Searches were conducted at several addresses on Monday. In particular, investigative actions were conducted at the companies Tekhnoserv and Redsis.

"Ivanov came to the Pension Fund from the IT sector, he was in charge of introducing electronic services. Over one billion rubles was provided for the program," the source said.
