Ukraine imported $800 mln in gas in 5M
KYIV. July 22 (Interfax) - Ukraine imported 3.491 billion cubic meters of natural gas for a total of $800.324 million in January-May 2019, including 1.218 bcm for $250.028 million in May, according to the State Statistics Service.
The average price of gas imported in May was thus $205.30 per 1,000 cubic meters, 2.4% less than in April ($210.40).
In 5M, imports from Switzerland totaled 1.218 bcm for $275.519 million; from Germany - 1.031 bcm for $228.196 million; from Hungary - 266.117 mcm for $57.3 million; from Poland - 285.336 mcm for $62.347 million; from Austria - 204.973 mcm for $59.577 million; from the Czech Republic - 153.797 mcm for $34.207 million; from France - 140.458 mcm for $32.106 million; from the UK - 93.25 mcm for $25.952 million; from Luxembourg - 73.959 mcm for $19.982 million; from Italy - 16.893 mcm for $3.487 million; from Slovakia - 6.309 million cubic meters for $1.448 million; and from Bulgaria - 962,000 cubic meters for $206,000.
Ukraine did not import gas from Russia during this period.
