Ukrainian presidential office deputy chief may be nominated for prosecutor general - Zelensky
KYIV. July 23 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said he is considering deputy chief of the Ukrainian presidential office Ruslan Ryaboshapka as a candidate for prosecutor general.
Zelensky said Ukraine needs a new prosecutor general whilst speaking to journalists following a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
Spokesperson for Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko, Larysa Sarhan, said on July 22 that Lutsenko was on an official leave.
