Cargo turnover of NCSP Group grew 2.2% in 5M, to 59.8 million tonnes, not counting NGT

MOSCOW. July 26 (Interfax) - The Novorossiysk Commercial Seaport Group (NCSP) handled 59.8 million tonnes of cargo in January-May, a year-on-year increase of 2.2%, the company said in a statement.

As of May of this year, the turnovers of the Novorossiysk Grain Terminal (NGT) and Pier No. 3, where grain was loaded, are not counted in this figure.

In April, NCSP reached a deal on the sale of Novorossiysk Grain Terminal to VTB for 35.5 billion rubles with the possibility of adjustment for working-capital variance. LLC Demetra 1, a company controlled by the bank, bought 99.9968% of shares in the terminal from NCSP.
