Kremlin does not view Moscow protests as political crisis - Peskov
MOSCOW. Aug 13 (Interfax) - The Kremlin does not share the opinion that Moscow protests are a manifestation of political crisis, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"We disagree with many people who describe the ongoing events as a political crisis," Peskov told the press on Tuesday.
These events "cannot be associated with any crisis," he said.
"Protests are happening in many countries of the world and are related to particular issues," Peskov said. In Moscow, issues are raised by "those who suspect an injustice during the registration of candidates," he said.
