Rosneft office in central Moscow resumes normal work as staff returns to building

MOSCOW. Aug 15 (Interfax) - The staff of the central office of Rosneft on Sofiyskaya Embankment have returned to the building after being evacuated.

"The office has resumed normal operation," the company press service told Interfax.

Several sources familiar with the situation told Interfax earlier that the Rosneft office on Sofiyskaya Embankment had been evacuated.

"The company declines to comment, since the police are at work," the company press service had told Interfax in a statement.

According to the Baza Telegram channel, the Rosneft headquarters was evacuated upon receiving information about an armed grenade located in the building.

Interfax has yet to receive comments from law enforcement agencies.
