Novatek to discuss LNG projects with India at Eastern Economic Forum
MURMANSK. Aug 20 (Interfax) - Novatek will hold talks on its liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects with an Indian delegation led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) in Vladivostok in early September, the Russian gas producer's CEO, Leonid Mikhelson said.
"With India, as far as I understand, we are always discussing our plans for LNG projects, and now a big delegation, including the [country's] leader, is coming to the Vladivostok forum. We will again discuss," Mikhelson told reporters when asked whether Novatek is holding negotiations with Indian companies on the sale of a stake in Arctic LNG 2 and sales of LNG from the project.
