British TV channel was not in touch with Putin over plans to make documentary about him - Peskov
MOSCOW. Aug 22 (Interfax) - Vladimir Putin is unaware of the British television Channel 4's plans to make a docuseries about him; its authors had not asked the Russian president for comment, his press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"Vladimir Vladimirovich does not know about it, the channel did not try [to reach for comment]," Peskov told journalists on Wednesday.
Several media outlets reported that Channel 4 announced plans to make a three-part documentary, titled "Putin: A Russian Spy Story."
